- the-art private dental practice offering a professional working environment in the heart of Birmingham’s New Street and we are looking to expand and grow further Your core responsibilities will be to welcome patients and help with the consultation process. You must demonstrate a good work ethic and be able to deal with patients from the beginning to the end of their dental treatment in a professional and courteous manner. The Front of House plays a key role for the Practice in the delivery of premium patient care and services. The post holder will demonstrate exceptional patient relations to be the face and brand of the practice. The role will also blend seamlessly with our Treatment Co-ordination role to ensure that patients are guided successfully through their Invisalign journey. The key holder will also perform reception duties for the Practice to the highest standards Front of House will work with all members of the dental team and should carry out tasks with them in a professional manner. The post holder will establish and maintain productive relationships with all members of the dental team to promote mutual understanding with the highest standards of service delivery. Front of House will also present themselves meticulously and be proud of the company’s dress code. To communicate exceptionally to new and existing patients and proud to be an ambassador of our brand. Dental Nursing experience or Dental Reception experience is preferred. Dealing with new patient enquiries, experience with dental jargon and understanding dental treatment plans is a prerequisite. MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESProvide full and comprehensive reception duties dealing with general and complex enquiries, arranging dental appointments, and providing information asked by patients and public, either by telephone or face to face.Opening up of reception, checking Answering the phone etc. to start the business of the day. Ensure waiting area is welcoming at all timesGreet patients at the deskObserve confidentiality and Data ProtectionBe capable of using a computer system within the Practice effectively. Operate the appointment system in the Practice on the computerBe able to communicate comfortably and effectively with patients about money and accept payments for treatments in the appropriate manner.contact/ask patients about unpaid accounts, liaising with Finance about this. Physically take money.Ordering and maintaining stationary supplies, to provide an adequate supply of stock for all staff ensuring dispatch to correct location and tidiness of store.To review and implement any new administrative processes.To undertake all general office duties, such as photocopying, faxing etc.To travel to any other dental site to provide cover of the workload of other administrative staff within the organization as and when required during periods of annual leave or sick leave.Working days - Monday
- Saturdays OUR LOCATION: The practice is ideally located on New Street in Central Birmingham, opposite Tesco and minutes from New Street (Grand Central) Train Station.
