**Role Overview**

We are looking for an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join our friendly and dynamic Lettings team in one of our busy country offices.

This is an opportunity newly available due to succession within the team, so there is huge scope for progression and the opportunity to take advantage of our competitive, uncapped commission structure.

**Team Overview**

You will be working closely with our head of department, lettings coordinator, property manager and a whole host of supporting teams. Your focus will be letting the Harpenden available properties, growing market share and servicing our landlord and applicant enquiries to ensure our office delivers its targets.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Calling potential tenants to build relationships, understand their requirements and qualify their affordability to help them find a suitable home.
- Booking and carrying out viewings.
- Negotiating deals with an eye for detail whilst meeting/striving to exceed individual monthly targets as well as supporting the team target.
- Efficient and proactive continual liaison with our tenancy progression and property management team to prepare each individual tenancy.
- Keeping up to date with Savills research and the local market conditions and share that knowledge with clients and tenants.
- Spotting business opportunities to help increase income, expand local market share and maximise cross selling with other Savills departments.
- Building and maintaining relationships with local businesses and other agents in the area.
- Maintain the company's standard as a market leader
- Comply with the ARLA Propertymark ways of working, strict Property Ombudsman & RICS ‘Code of Practice’, as well as keeping up to date with all new lettings & estate agency legislation.
- Be up to date with all of your allocated training and follow all standard working practices for your role.

**Key Skills**
- Minimum of 1 years' prior lettings or sales negotiator experience
- Local area and market knowledge
- Works well in fast paced environment with a track record of achieving targets
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels
- Be comfortable working with multiple departments, fitting into different teams as required
- Ideally ARLA qualified
