**Job Type**: Fixed Term, Hybrid - Flexible location, maternity cover.

**Hours of Work**: 40 hours full time

**Salary**: £24,000 per annum

What we need in a nutshell:
We are looking for a People Coordinator that will sit as part of the Regional People Operations team in the South. This role will assist both the People Manager and People Partner in delivering the People Plan. Although this role is predominantly administrative in nature, you will have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide remit of HR operational functions and be mentored to grow your career and obtain a great foundation in people operations. You will be the first point of call for all queries, providing direct support to our park operations teams in our Southern regions on people related matters and assist with weekly reporting, project tasks as well as note taking in ER cases and helping to roll out various initiatives within the year.

Who are we?

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be a key point of contact for HR, ensuring our People Strategy is implemented and the Away Resorts culture thrives. This includes:

- Dealing with the day-to-day HR administrative tasks and enquiries and working closely with the People Manager and People Partner
- Supporting the recruitment process, shortlisting, through to arranging interviews and carrying out background checks
- Leading the new starter process through coordinating paperwork, welcome packs and inductions
- Providing support to all departments to operate within the spirit of our values

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need:
We are looking for someone ready to build a career in HR, who can demonstrate the following:

- Good level of general education
- Good organisational skills and comfortable with IT systems
- Ability to organise your own time and workload
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High levels of empathy and emotional intelligence
- Resilience

It’s the icing on the cake, but not essential, if you have entry level CIPD qualification and work experience as an HR Admin Assistant or Coordinator. We’re also looking for someone who is willing to travel and be away from home occasionally.
