Premises Officer

Based at the Northbrook Broadwater Campus

We are seeking to appoint a full-time (Fixed-Term) Premises Officer to work in the Northbrook Broadwater Campus, to work the above shift pattern to support operations.

Your main duties will be to provide a day to day response with planned maintenance/caretaking duties, including Fire Warden when required. You will also be providing general College security including safety steward duties. You will be opening and closing the campuses and receiving, recording, distributing and dispatching goods for departments. You will also be overseeing external contractors while they are on site.

You will be required to hold a First Aid at Work qualification, and full training will be given to acquire this if not already held.

You should have relevant experience of working within a maintenance or a building services environment or in large commercial premises. You should be educated to Level 2 or above and hold a qualification in a building services trade.

You should also have good communication skills and the ability to work co-operatively as part of a team as well as on own initiative and you should have a pro-active approach to work. There will be some heavy lifting required and you may need to travel between sites. There may also be some occasional overtime evening or weekend work required.
