Asbestos Surveyor
Environtec are a leading independent asbestos management consultancy in the UK with 30 years industry experience, Environtec sets the standards in asbestos compliance. Specialising in the identification, testing and monitoring of asbestos.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate to join the South East team covering the Worthing region.
Experience/Qualifications:
* BOHS P402 Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings is essential
* Experience of undertaking various asbestos surveys to a variety of commercial and domestic properties
* Familiarity of working for a UKAS accredited company
* Experience of using hand held data collectors is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
Asbestos Surveyor Duties:
* Carrying out ‘Management’ and ‘Refurbishment and Demolition’ Surveys on domestic and commercial premises as well as schools and other public sector buildings.
* Conducting bulk sampling within the region
* Liaising on a daily basis with clients, contractors and their representatives as well as members of the public
* Other duties as requested by the Regional Manager to help and support the office growth
Asbestos Surveyor Requirements:
* A full UK driving licence
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
* A good eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure
* Flexible (some out of hours and weekend work will apply)
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: Flexible depending on experience
