Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Surveyor to join our team at Michael Page Property & Construction. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall day-to-day management of property compliance in regards to gas, electrical, fire, asbestos, water hygiene and lift safety, as well as, other landlord health and safety areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor statutory compliance effectively, removing risk to the company where possible and identifying and implementing mitigation measures where complete risk removal is not possible.
  • Ensure the statutory compliance areas are effectively monitored both in terms of the level of compliance, quality and cost control.
  • Provide regular property compliance KPI reports to senior management.
  • Ensure agreed access procedures to residents' homes are followed.
  • Manage the compliance control process, working with health and safety partners/consultants to ensure new laws and legislation is implemented throughout the organisation in a timely fashion.
  • Carry out property inspections to ensure the safety and compliance of our customers' homes, communal blocks and sites.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in compliance management, health and safety, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
