**Salary**: up to £13,000 per annum, dependent on experience (£26,000 FTE)

Are you passionate about creating a vibrant and enriching student experience? Do you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Student Experience and Transition Officer at Royal Holloway International Study Centre (ISC).

The purpose of the role is to support students with non-academic areas within our International Study Centre. This will be achieved by providing support to students to ensure they have a positive and enjoyable experience during their time in the ISC, whilst supporting student’s transition between the ISC and the University.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Administration**:

- Provide a consistent, accurate and friendly customer reception service to visitors, students, and staff, identifying problems that lead to poor service and contributing to the review of this service.
- To assist with student enquiries, directing them appropriately within the ISC to the Head of Centre, Welfare, Academic Team and Student Experience Team.
- Lead the organization of pathway and social trips, Union Fares and Progression Support Ceremony.
- Assist the Head of Student Experience with the planning and implementation of induction, ensuring a positive Student Experience is achieved.
- Provide general student services advice including local and travel information, help with opening bank accounts, issuing confirmation letters, ID cards, letter requests, and maintenance, complaints etc.
- To engage with students regarding sports development activities, assist with promoting clubs and societies at the University, promoting activities and liaising with key stakeholders.
- To research, plan, coordinate and implement suitable and attractive activities and events for International students, engaging with students regarding potential events and encouraging participation and attendance.
- Support with the feedback mechanisms to measure and improve student satisfaction levels.
- Review student experience feedback and satisfaction data to identify opportunities to improve and create regular plans and reporting for the continuous improvement of Student Experience at the ISC
- Organise and oversee activities from the Social and Enhancement Events calendar throughout the academic year.
- Plan and organise induction events, which promotes a positive Student Experience between students and their peers.
- Plan and organise events and activities throughout the year to promote a positive Student Experience and build the community and strengthen relationships between students and their peers.
- Recruit and train student ambassadors.
- Collaborate and act as the first point of contact with the University’s Student Union
- Provide support with promoting University activities, guest speakers, and transition workshops to the University.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of students with whom you come into contact.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Level 3 Qualification in Business and Administration (Desirable)
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent (Desirable)
- Working in an administrative role (Essential)
- Working with International students (Desirable)
- Working in a Higher Education or Further Education environment (Desirable)
- Using data management systems (Enssential)
