**Job Description - Finance Assistant for Operations**
A full-time position has arisen for a Finance Assistant within the Finance department at a rapidly growing E-commerce company for an enthusiastic, self-organised and talented individual that is passionate about a career in a fast paced, fun, and driven environment.
This is an exciting role for the right individual looking to further their career in finance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Raising invoices for all service streams within this dynamic group of companies
- Ensure consistency between accounting (Xero) and warehouse management system (Mintsoft)
- Management of the customer finance desk system, liaising with customers and resolving their queries
- Contacting customers to chase outstanding debts and ensure close credit control
- Posting and reconciliation of multi-currency bank accounts
- Reviewing, processing, and paying employee expense claims, ensuring they comply with company policy and tax legislation.
- Recharging of intercompany expenses across the group
- Undertaking other finance administrative tasks and general support to the Head of Finance as required
- Assist the Head of Finance with improvements to systems and processes where necessary
- Being a true support function to the operational teams
- Working closely with the purchase ledger clerk and Head of Finance to ensure high levels of communication and a team environment across the finance function and across the business
**To be successful in this role you will**:
- Be qualified by experience, AAT qualified or studying towards AAT
- Be a team player, committed to the success of the department and the business as a whole
- Experience of Xero an advantage but not essential
- Keen eye for detail
- Be willing to learn
- Have a confident telephone manner
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
