Care Administrator

We are actively seeking a Care Administrator to work in our busy Keighley based office, if you have experience of working in this field we would like to hear from you.

The job itself will be varied and will include primarily overseeing our care system whilst also linking in with our community support workers, service users and other professionals.

Compassionate, competent staff are key to providing safe, high quality home care services that meet service user’s needs and preferences, so that they lead dignified, fulfilling lives as far as they are able.

You will support 06 Care, by monitoring our care system and ensuring all calls are completed by community support workers, auditing of these calls and investigate any calls if necessary. You will also review alerts raised by our community support workers and action to then result in completion.

You will help manage the rota and co-ordinate community support workers where necessary.

You will also be responsible for holding our On Call phone when the office is closed (phone held on a rota basis alongside your colleagues).

Our office is open seven days a week, 8:30am until 5:00pm and there will be some weekend work involved. An Administrator Rota is in operation that will involve working 5 days a week over the seven days available.

Duties include:

- Responsibility for managing our care system and devices, resolving any issues that may be raised by community support workers and linking in with our care software company if required
- Managing and ensuring the master rota is covered at all times
- Holding the On Call Phone out of hours
- Auditing of calls completed by community support workers and investigate calls if required
- Linking in with service users and other stakeholders to resolve tasks raised if required
- To participate in staff meetings and encourage positive communication between team members
- To maintain good channels of communication across the service
- Other general administrative duties

Working hours for the Care Administrator post are 5 days a week (Monday to Sunday) 8.30am until 5.00pm, this is an office based position.

**Salary**: £23,920.00 per year
