Pharmacy Innovation Officer

We are looking for an individual with an interest in innovation, particularly in the area of pharmacy to support our cutting-edge pharmacy service.

You will join our developing Pharmacy Informatics team at the heart of innovation across the department. Supported by a diverse team with over 100 years of pharmacy experience, you will collaborate with other to directly improve the care we offer to the trust and our patients.

As a Pharmacy Innovation Officer you will be responsible for working with the Pharmacy Informatics team to maintain our Pharmacy systems. Doing what is necessary to ensure their optimal operation and avoid the risks associated with systems outages.

You will offer your knowledge experience to other members of the pharmacy team so they can perform their role effectively.

You will also work collaboratively with the team and members of the department to improve and optimise existing processes, in addition to implementing new processes, to support the effective operation of the pharmacy department. This will be achieved by deploying new digital technologies or using Quality Improvement expertise.
