Security Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at ABM. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times, acting as a visual deterrent, and applying and conducting oneself in accordance with onsite Assignment Instructions (AIs) and Emergency Instructions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and secure environment at all times.
- Act as a visual deterrent.
- Apply and conduct oneself in accordance with onsite Assignment Instructions (AIs) and Emergency Instructions.
- Complete report books and all relevant company and on-site paperwork.
- Communicate all incidents to Security Team Leader/Manager and Site Management.
- Deal with hostile members of the public to resolve conflict situations.
- Patrol and monitor from a loss prevention aspect.
- Complete Health and Safety checks.
- Communicate with internal clients.
- Promote good customer service at all times.
- CCTV camera monitoring (CCTV licensed personnel only).
- Monitor the alarm system.
- Knowledge of radio procedures and etiquette.
Person Specification:
- Verbal and written English is essential due to the nature of the business.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Good team player.
- Attention to detail.
- SIA license and First Aid qualification is essential.
