About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at The Harborne Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK. As a key member of our Pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in leading clinical pharmacy services across various specialties, including cardiovascular, orthopaedic, and spinal services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead clinical pharmacy services to non-cancer areas and specialties across the hospital
  • Oversee clinical development, education, and training for pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and deliver clinical pharmacy services to specialty areas, including protocol development, delivery, and assurance
  • Assist with quality, governance, and assurance of pharmacy services

Requirements:

  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council with a BPharm, MPharm, or BSC in Pharmacy
  • Additional postgraduate clinical qualification, e.g., Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or other relevant post-graduation qualification
  • Extensive hospital experience
  • Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (desirable)
  • Specialist clinical pharmacy knowledge and experience in specialties including cardiovascular, orthopaedic, and spinal services
