Band 3 Relocation Support Officer

**Job summary**:
We have established the Recruitment Hub at Attwood House on Bath Row in Birmingham City Centre. The post holder will be based there but this role requires travel to provide a meet and greet service to arrivals to the UK in Birmingham & Solihull which may involve some weekend and evening work, therefore requiring flexibility and the ability to change plans and make new arrangements at short notice. You will be employed by the host organisation; University Hospitals Birmingham, but will travel to / meet with staff from all BSOL organisations.
**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
You will be joining a team of passionate and enthusiastic staff that will consist of Educators and Administrators working collaboratively with provider organisations to enable a centralised and coordinated approach which is consistent across the BSOL ICS.
You will be interacting with internationally recruited staff pre arrival and upon arrival and be confident in giving non-clinical information and advice that improves their experience. Dealing with sensitive information daily, you will understand the importance of data security and the right to confidentiality.
You will often work under pressure and sometimes without direct supervision, so we are looking for someone who is confident to take on new challenges and able to adapt to change in a professional and assertive manner.
Maintain effective communication with a range of people across all levels, both within and outside of the organisation. Communicate any ideas or concerns with either team members of line managers as appropriate.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:
General Education for example GCSE/English & Maths A-C/ 9-4, Level 2 Functional Skills or Equivalent.
Business administration qualification i.e.: NVQ 3 or equivalent administration experience
Experience of dealing with the public/customer service /people
Experience in being the first point of contact for enquiries from external/internal users/patients and families
Can demonstrate the use of judgment and assessment of situations where there is more than one solution to an issue
Can demonstrate ability to deal with routine and non -routine and unpredictable workload
Experienced in the use or and working with a range of Microsoft office packages
Can organise complex activities which require collating

Ability to work outside of standard working hours associated with the role which may require travel to meet/greet and receive internationally recruited nurses
