RSR are currently recruiting on behalf of our policing client based in Leek Wootton, Warwickshire for a Technical Business Analyst to undertake robust research and analysis to identify new and innovative business capabilities and approaches for performingbusiness activities across the force.

This is a full time, fixed term contract for 2 years and offers a salary of £49,866.

**Main Duties**:

- Take responsibility for understanding strategic business requirements and aims, collecting and interpreting data from research studies, pilot trials, undertaking gap analysis and delivering analysis and recommendations with the aim of maximising the efficienciesgained from business analysis resources.
- Assessing and recommending the feasibility of opportunities where new and existing technologies can be used to improve business efficiency, service performance and reduce costs.
- Build and maintain relationships with the Managed Service Provider and other stakeholders to ensure collaboration and the contribution of all relevant stakeholders is maximised.
- Establish an understanding of business aims and attain the support of key stakeholders to business proposals, and sign off for business cases.
- Influence and advise the force, suppliers and senior staff/ officers in order to achieve the best possible alignment between programmes/projects and both force and ICT strategies, targeting delivery of improved performance and reduced cost.
- Recommend business functions and processes for investigation and analysis.
- Influence business approach to change by identifying and quantifying business benefits and benefit realisation at the earliest point in programmes.
- Provide analysis and documentation of business and/or user requirements.
- Effectively communicate requirements facilitating communication between vendors or third parties and the force.
- Leading the business to re-engineer business processes and the planned deliverables, developing and publishing agreed documentation to a high standard.
- Seek and raise the positive profile of Digital Services in all matters through influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Reduce the overall cost base of the delivery of the service and seek value for money services at all times.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Educated to degree level or Professional Qualifications equivalent (e.g. ISEB, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt).
- Previous experience as an IT business Analyst document Business/system process, Business Process Reviews, Workshop facilitation
- Experience of Power Apps development (Power Apps Portals, ModelDriven / Canvas Applications), Microsoft Dataverse
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate and/or Power BI)
- Experience Intelligent Automation toolsets i.e. Blue Prism / Power Automate
- Experience with Cloud PaaS, IaaS in providers like Azure & AWS
- Good knowledge of industry recognised approaches such as ITIL, Prince and Agile.
- Must have a good understanding of IT Architecture, Networks, Cloud Technologies and Infrastructure as well as the Business Systems & Services currently in use.
- Experienced in business case creation - identifying business benefits, technology costs and risks associated with business change programmes.
- Proficient in Customer Value Chain Concepts.
- Proficient in Business Improvement Techniques.
- Experienced in Service Delivery Economics
