Accounts/billing Assistant

You will have the ability to work with non-finance managers and build relationships. Moreover, you will be passionate about the positive impact that good financial information and insight can make to a company's achievement. You will possess excellent communicationskills with the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment as we grow, scale and optimise for success.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Raising sales invoices from Dockethub system and other adhoc invoicing as required
- Using rate cards to bill clients
- Dealing with billing queries and updating the query log daily
- Continuously improving processes where possible, to make it more accurate, efficient and timely
- Adding invoices to Sage line 200
- Adding sales invoices to contribution reconciliation control sheet
- Time management - working to weekly billing targets
- The correct filing of invoices to be made daily
- Other adhoc duties such as helping towards audit preparation
- Working with sales, client services and operations to resolve any billing matters for the client(s)
- Support month end process (c. 3 days per month)
**Key Skills**
- Experience working in finance, particular billing and experience of a sales ledger would be advantageous
- Good basic Excel skills with the view to improve through internal and external training
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Time management and strong organisational skills
- Strong written, verbal communication skills given the role will communicate across finance, the wider management team and directly with clients
- Working to individual and team targets
