Export Logistics Clerk

**Description**:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is wanting to get into the world of Logistics. You will be managing a portfolio of export customers, you will deliver an end to end ordering process, ensuring paperwork is created in accordance with customs requirements. You will be ensuring collections and deliveries are managed and planned in the most effective way and be able to problem solve any disruption or potential delay in the supply chain.
We are looking for a super talented individual with fantastic communication skills you will be super organised and a proactive self-starter brimming with positivity, passion and ideas. Freight knowledge, incoterms & shipping experience is preferred but not essential.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- To manage a portfolio of customers providing high level of service.
- Delivering an end to end ordering process, from initial order through to invoicing and delivery.
- Ensuring all paperwork is created and supplied in accordance with customs regulations
- Communicating with all departments and teams whenever a change to the supply chain is affected. (orders & freight movements) notifying all parties with a solution focused approach
- Work in collaboration with nominated freight forwarders to ensure collections and deliveries are managed and planned in the most effective and cost efficient way.
- Work together with customer service on the distribution of various events throughout the year, such as staff boxes, press launches, shop refurb/relocation etc
- Assist and advise best practice for shop openings/relocations and new and emerging Export markets
- Become fully trained to ensure all hazardous material is distributed within IATA, ADR and IMDG guidelines to enable shipping with appropriate and accurate paperwork.
- Generate bespoke reports and analysis as requested.
- Complete & maintain regular month end & QAD housekeeping procedures (e.g. sales orders, due dates, filing of shipping documents & invoices in accordance with HMRC)
- Implement, monitor and always look to improve processes to increase business efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide help and assistance in a friendly and efficient manner to both internal and external customers and colleagues.
- Comply with H&S regulations & be proactive with the wellbeing of yourself & your fellow team members
