**HR Compliance Administrator**
**Location**: Bedfordshire/Hybrid
**Key responsibilities**:
- Compliance admin support/answer queries and resolve problems as required
- Undertake necessary recruitment document checks, including outside UK applicants.
- Maintain/Manage spreadsheets
- Liaise with supervisors and managers, and payroll and finance colleagues
- Administer and advise on resource records
- Act as a point of contact and liaison with individuals to ensure appropriate documents are presented, collated, validated, and uploaded before individuals commence work to include 'Right to Work’ and employment checks in respect of HMRC status.
- Liaise verbally/in writing with finance, academic and admin staff to ensure that original copies of documents are validated, photocopied, and uploaded once the individual arrives on site to perform the work.
- Record keeping
- Additional support to the wider HR or compliance team as required
**Key Skills**:
- Experience of working in a similar data intensive, customer service administrative role
- Good working knowledge of word processing packages, spreadsheets, and databases.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to plan and organise to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to gain an understanding of company HR policies/practices to answer queries and resolve problems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and highly customer focused
- Ability to work proactively and independently
- Able to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities
- Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality.
- Flexible and agile approach to workloads
