**Service Desk Coordinator**

**Brief**

Service Desk Coordinator needed for an IT Solutions organisation based in West Sussex who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Service Desk Coordinator that takes pride in their work. As a Service Desk Co-Ordinator, you will ensure thatour customers receive the best possible level of support from their service desk team.

**Salary**: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum

**What the role entails**:
**Some of the main duties of theService Desk Coordinatorwill include**:

- Ensuring that all customer communication is done in a customer-centric manner.
- Delegating and arranging ticket allocation for the team.
- Overseeing ticket queue and supervising a team to ensure tickets and client comms are progressed in a timely fashion.
- Maintaining efficient communication between team and clients.
- Ensuring processes are fulfilled to the highest level.
- Administrative duties as required, covering the service desk to ensure its swift and efficient operation.
- Demonstrate the company's core values.

**What experience you need to be the successfulService Desk Coordinator**:

- Have experience working within a helpdesk environment, or at least a busy administrative environment, with the drive and ambition to be successful in their post.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Not necessarily have technical skills, but an understanding of the impact problems can have and the ability to look at information objectively. Basic technical understanding is a plus.
- Be process and efficiency driven whilst maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Be very organised and used to working in a high-pressured environment.
- Have the ability to multitask.
- Be personable, empathetic, and able to build relationships with colleagues and clients to support them in providing a professional customer service approach.
- Have excellent telephone manor.
- A great positive attitude.
