This company have embarked on an exciting transformation journey. As part of this journey, they are looking for a talented Business Intelligence Manager, whose primary function is to develop and provide accurate, accessible, timely, and impactful businessintelligence to underpin the company's growth and development.
Using a multitude of different datasets to define, build and maintain reports/dashboards, you will be responsible to deliver actionable insights and identify opportunities for business growth in the most efficient manner. The insights provided should supportthe solving of business issues, inform decision-making and identify areas where we can drive and improve profitability across the business.
You will be working closely with key stakeholders on exciting new projects to help them to achieve ambitious strategic plans. You will be confident in owning and maintaining relationships with our internal stakeholders, and become adept at understanding needsand challenges and providing solutions and insights.
You will be responsible for creating the financial data structure so must be pro-active and a self-starter who is able to achieve targets utilising your experience and skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and improve KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to help business users in their decision-making process. Responsible for producing the monthly KPI pack
- Management and Production of monthly P&L Performance reports and detailed supporting analysis. Reconciliation of inter-company balances
- Conduct deep dives into performance to generate key insights that will drive future sales and operational strategy
- Working with business owners to develop and define key business questions, and to build data sets that answer those questions
- Working with the Business Analyst to develop a deep understanding of the data available and produce the appropriate business analysis
- Build models and analysis to help better understand constantly evolving customer landscape and company profitability
- Production of regular analysis reports as well as ad-hoc reports to support key business activities. Prioritise business insight requests to balance the tactical and strategic information needs of the business
- Work closely with the Business Transformation director and the team to provide the insights and support the Transformation Roadmap
- Develop and implement strategies for Business Intelligence across the organisation
- Identify gaps and implement solutions to improve financial data structure, reporting and data collection across the business
- Production of various management accounting information, including for example analysis on acquisitions and supporting with post acquisition analysis and integration activities
- Support budgeting and forecasting process of the business, as well as assist with annual external audits
This is a full time, permanent role located at their Head Office in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. They offer hybrid working.
