The role of the Sales Representative Technical Product Demonstrator - Sealants and Adhesives will involve:

- Field sales position promoting a high quality range of sealants and adhesives for the construction industry
- Selling into builders merchants, retail showrooms, plumbing wholesalers, electrical wholesalers and DIY stores
- Technical product demonstrations and merchandising within builders merchants
- 60% of your time is spent conducting product demonstrations in stores, with the remaining 40% spent performing sales responsibilities such as cold calling and arranging appointments
- Maintaining and nurturing the existing business and accounts within the area whilst also bringing on and developing new customers and accounts
- Regional branch responsibility for national builders merchants such as Selco and Wickes
- Typically visiting customers on a 6-8 week call cycle
- 60% of the revenue comes form the top 40% of customers
- Opportunity to join the fastest growing sealants and adhesive brand in the market
- Occasional overnight stays may be required due to the size of the area

The ideal applicant will be a Sales Representative Technical Product Demonstrator - Sealants and Adhesives with:

- Must have technical experience working with and selling sealants and adhesives
- Open to someone working for a builders merchant, looking for their first field sales role
- Building products background
- Ideally some merchandising experience
- Confidence to demonstrate technical building product
- Demonstrable track record in account management and new business generation
- Consultative sales style with ability to build lasting relationships
- Comfortable with working as part of a team
- Genuine 'get up and go’ work ethic
- Results orientated, personable and enthusiastic
