CareFlow EPR is our cloud and mobile-enabled Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution which allows hospitals to transform their services digitally. It provides advanced clinical systems such as prescribing, care planning, contact management, care-co-ordination and e-observations. This role focuses on two of our EPR product modules: Workflow and Connect.

**Location**: Liverpool hybrid 2/3 days a week

**The Role**

The **Product SME** will provide specialised knowledge to the agile development teams, helping them drive the successful delivery of the functionality that forms part of System C’s market leading EPR system. This role focuses on two of our EPR product modules: Workspace and Connect. **Workspace** is our clinical workspace which display a clinicians’ dashboard overview of a patient record and **Connect **is our mobile care coordination tool.

**Day To Day**:

- Contribute towards product design, writing user stories and defining end-user workflows. Identify where the product needs to improve and articulate the changes required.  
- Identify safety risks early in the development lifecycle.
- Provide expert support and guidance to internal teams, customers and end-users.
- Create end-user documentation and training materials.
- Create workflow models, requirement specifications, and diagrams.
- Collaboration with members of your Agile team to ensure software delivered by each sprint and each integration test meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Working with QA Analysts, to create and execute test scripts, recording the outcome of tests, reporting defects and identifying opportunities for product improvement.
- In collaboration with the QA Analysts, definition and execution of increasingly complex workflow and scenario testing.  

**Experience**:
We are looking for people with an **NHS** background and wider **healthcare market knowledge**. You need to be able to understand how our software is used by clinicians and how to make recommendations for safe improvements to it. To be successful in this role you will need experience of using **clinical systems software (EPR/PAS/Clinical Systems**), covering one or more of the following:

- Software release testing and configuration.
- Involved in user training.
- Preparation of user documentation and standard operating procedures.   
- Requirements capture.
- Helping to create user stories.

**Highly Desirable**:

- Clinical qualifications with professional experience in an acute hospital setting.
- System analysis, SQL and design.
- Comfortable talking about APIs and other technical concepts.
- Review and amendment of bid responses or customer requirements documentation.

**Soft Skills: **
- Ability to mentor and coach internal team members on the product and clinical workflows.
- Comfortable working in an agile environment with an understanding of agile methodologies.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
