Liverpool, United Kingdom Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust Full time

A new post has been created in the Clinical Coding Department at Liverpool Women's Hospital. The successful applicant will benefit from working in a supportive, highly skilled team with the freedom and trust to work flexibly to deliver the needs of the department.

The post holder will be expected to work from the hospital site for an introductory period, following which an empowered attendance policy is in place enabling staff who maintain appropriate audit scores and productivity to work remotely if desired. Staff working remotely must be available to attend occasional on-site meetings, events, and training as required.

The team operates a flexible working policy with core hours between 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-15:00, Monday -Friday.

They will assist the Clinical Coding Manager in managing the day-to-day workload of the team including the supervision and motivation of staff, and act as a mentor to less experienced clinical coding officers.

A key component of the post will be to deal with enquiries regarding the clinical coding process including liaising with senior clinical staff and attending multidisciplinary meetings.
