Sample Collection Driver

**Job description**
Full time Driver required to join Global Service Group (GSG) for a contract based in Cramlington. The contract will operate with daily scheduled routes working within the food sector - this is not a multi-drop contract.

**REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- _Hours Per Week: 42.5 Hrs_
- Shift: start time from 6:30am to 3:30pm (including unpaid break) Monday to Friday but may vary
- Shift times can vary depending on business requirements to cover periods of holiday and sickness. _
- Flexibility for weekend working (Overtime)_
- Basis: Permanent_
- Collection of samples from our clients’ sites as requested._
- Delivery of samples in a reasonable timeframe and in good condition_
- Driving at all times in a safe and appropriate manner; always courteous to other road users_
- Ensuring the temperature control of the vehicle’s fridge is maintained at all times._
- Developing and maintaining a good professional relationship with staff._
- Maintaining a degree of flexibility on collection runs to allow for additional requests and traffic delays._
- Maintaining a smart appearance of both driver and vehicle; project a positive public image._
- You will be supplied with a telephone which your jobs will come through to each night, fuel card and uniform._
**THE PERSON**
To be successful in this role you will be motivated, punctual, dedicated, and someone who gets things done.
You will need to work within a team ensuring the drivers are on time for their deliveries and collections.
Able to respond to any holiday, sickness or breakdowns cover when required for any of the routes.
