Accessories & Homeware Designer

**THE ROLE**
We are seeking a detail oriented, organised and motivated individual to join our team as an Accessories & Homeware Designer. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced individual with a track record of success, looking to further their career. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct seasonal research, trend analysis, and create mood boards for collections.
- Develop and design across multiple product categories in line with the brand aesthetic.
- To design with a strong awareness of price architecture, margins, and market pricing.
- Creation of product specification and technical packs/size charts.
- To undertake product assessment and amendment.
- Support in the product development from sampling to production, working in line with critical path and deadlines; liaising with factories.
- Factory visits and fabric sourcing trips.
**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, Fashion Design Degree or similar.
- Previous product development experience. An excellent technical understanding of accessories or homeware design and development.
- Excellent knowledge of our market sector and trend awareness.
- Strong CAD, Photoshop, and excellent Illustrator skills.
- Confident and competent communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience using spreadsheets: Excel / Numbers.
- Graphic design, 3D design, and PLM experience a bonus.

They should be dynamic in their approach as they will need to react quickly to ever changing environments.
Finally, they will be charismatic and confident, happy interacting with different audiences and peers.
