Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Certification Specialist to join our team at British Engines Group. This role will be based in the UK and will play a crucial part in ensuring our products meet global regulatory standards.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a certification professional to work on various projects, including product development, testing, and auditing. As a Certification Specialist, you will provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams to ensure compliance with international, European, North American, and Canadian standards.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support and guidance to relevant departments on the application of relevant standards.
  • Obtaining new certificates (e.g., IECEx / ATEX / ABS / Lloyds / BV) for new products under the guidance of the Product Development Manager.
  • Maintaining all current certificates, renewals, product design updates, and modifications.
  • Generating and maintaining all certification documentation.
  • Liaising with third-party certification and testing authorities.
  • Carrying out and monitoring practical certification tests.
  • Organizing and participating in certification-related internal and external audits.
  • Assisting in the development and control of research and development (R&D) laboratory facilities and test equipment.
