**Hours of work: 37.5 hours PW - Monday-Friday**

**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
- To work within the post room area responding to day-to-day postal queries regarding existing policies in a timely and polite manner
- To be able to support the firm’s goals by demonstrating excellent customer service skills and will act as a referral point for the organisation with regards to postal and document print enquiries
- Handling the day to day outgoing and incoming client post and documents including post collection, recorded deliveries, collection of postal fees due and assisting the Operations team with Self Service Area tasks
- To provide peace of mind to the management team that all business transacted falls in line with the company’s standards and requirements
- To ensure that all business being conducted is in full compliance with all regulations and any other legislation that may be relevant to the insurance industry, as well as any professional standards and business practices
- To keep the legal and ethical integrity of Staveley Head a trading style of One Sure intact through policy enforcement and by ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations that are to be upheld

**KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- Educated to minimum of grade C in maths and English is desirable but not essential
- A high standard of telephone manner and customer service skills
- Attention to detail is paramount and must be demonstrated consistently
- Ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of customer service awareness, including TCF, FCA guidelines
- Thorough understanding of in-house systems

**BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS**
- Act in an honest and open manner at all times with both the customer, staff, insurers and the company in all matters
- Have a customer focused approach and ensure this ethos is carried through to staff members
- Ensure that business transactions are compliant and in accordance with FCA regulations and Conduct rules (COCON)
- Act with integrity by demonstrating fairness and impartiality
- To offer clear and effective communication to all parties that you will be exposed to
- Ability to handle situations and problems that need to be resolved in a professional manner

**ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To adhere at all times with the requirements of the financial services and markets act 2000 and the FCA rules by various means including reading any compulsory scripting as detailed by the company
- To deal with all incoming and outgoing post, written communications including confidential letters, electronic communications and face to face enquiries in a timely manner
- To maintain accurate and secure records of customers ensuring no postal data breaches or electronic data breaches
- To maintain professional competence by complying at all times with the training and competence procedures of the company
- To achieve KPI targets as set by the management team
- To be receptive to constructive feedback and demonstrate a willingness to improve
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- To take responsibility for regulation requirements such as GDPR within the team
- To comply with all regulations as set out by the FCA
- To undertake any other duties as reasonably required and directed
