**The role**

Our events feature some of the best engineers, technologists and innovators in the world. This exciting new role will play a crucial part in supporting the development of a cohesive, engaging and inspiring annual programme that truly meets our stakeholders' needs, enhances our impact and continues highlighting the important role of engineering in society.

**Who are we looking for?**

We maintain a busy calendar of high-profile events, and you will help to make them happen by identifying and developing event topics, high quality and inspiring speakers and marketing content.

We need a true self-starter with a strong track record in conference production and scripting, creating new events and speaker management. You will have demonstrable experience in defining the direction of events conference themes, able to take on responsibility and make things happen. You will have a good awareness of event marketing practices, strong stakeholder management skills, excellent influencing skills and a proven ability to multitask.

Naturally, you will be exceptionally organised and methodical, with meticulous attention to detail, and you will be passionate about communicating about technology and innovation. You will be an adept researcher who is able to understand the key issues affecting the engineering industry and you will combine innate commercial acumen with the highest standards of creativity. In short, you will bring everything it takes to make every event a success.

This role entails flexibility regarding out of hours working in order to support certain events. Time off in lieu (TOIL) will be allocated by your Line Manager, depending on the event on case
- by-case basis.

**Location**

Our light, spacious offices are based in a fantastic location in central London with views over St James’s Park and close to the West End. We operate hybrid, flexible working practices with a baseline 2 days a week in the office.
