**Job summary**:
We are looking for two talented producers to make peerless content in a team pushing the bar for government communications and marketing.

We need experienced and self-driven Senior Content Producers who can bring creativity and enthusiasm to a fast-paced team of content specialists. You will work closely with brand, design and social media experts, and your work will help support businesses across the UK and around the world.

Expect to be part of a team that thrives on collaboration, always uses data to test and learn, experiments with new formats and continuously improves engagement. No two days will be the same.

The person in these roles will need excellent editorial judgement, as well as experience with video editing and digital design tools, such as Adobe CC. It is essential to have a passion for creative solutions to support and improve the way the Department communicates its news across digital channels.

Being able to work at pace is a must.

Below is some additional detail on what each of the two Senior Content Producer roles will focus on:
**Senior Content Producer (video)**

We are looking for someone who can produce high-quality video and photo output for campaigns, events and paid advertising. This person will be experienced in video editing, video shoots and photography. They will support all aspects of the Department’s communications and marketing work.

You will be the Department’s first port of call for expertise in video production and play an important mentoring role in the team to upskill others in video production tools and techniques.

Experience with shoots on location in a must, as is experience with senior leaders and VIPs.

**Senior Content Producer (social media)**

This person will be a dynamic operator with capacity for pushing new formats, optimising content and responding quickly to the news cycle. We need someone who is fluent in social media best practice, relentlessly audience focused and accomplished in creating content capable of stopping the news feed scroll.

You will use your excellent editorial judgement to respond rapidly to a fast-paced news-driven environment and create content at pace. You will lead content production for multiple social channels and provide essential quality control within the team.

**Job description**:
**Senior Content Producer (video)**
- Create first-class video content for campaigns and events
- Lead film shoots, both in the office and on location
- Advise colleagues and stakeholders on video shoot logistics and best practice
- Edit and deliver finished video outputs at pace
- Train and up-skill team members in videography tools and techniques
- Develop new ways of storytelling in the digital environment

**Senior Content Producer (social media)**
- Create first-class content across digital channels
- Lead content creation on key policy announcements, ministerial priorities, events and campaigns
- Advise senior stakeholders on social media best practice and provide hands on support
- Deliver and develop social media strategy
- Use data and other insight to evaluate performance and inform strategic decisions
- Develop new ways of storytelling in the digital environment

**Hybrid working**

Please be aware that this role can only be worked from within the UK and not overseas.

Informal hybrid working arrangements will be available as agreed with the vacancy manager and in line with the requirements of the role.

Most DIT employees will be working a hybrid pattern, spending 2-3 days a week (pro rata) in an office, on average. If your office location is London, you will be eligible to receive London weighting.

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience in social media, PR, digital marketing or related communications roles
- Experience in videography or video editing
- Experience working with and delivering for senior stakeholders
- Strong editorial judgement
- Ability to work at pace and under pressure
- Experience with the Adobe Creative suite or similar editing tools

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience running social media accounts
- Experience with live streams
- Experience working internationally, especially in a trade or business environment
