Our client has a beautiful refurbished and popular coffee shop/restaurant on the outskirts of Henley In Arden.

They are a small, friendly and professional team whose attention to detail for their guests is second to none.

They are now looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor who has a passion and a desire to create a wonderful experience for all their customers who visit

The role is hands on where you will be interacting with both staff and the guests.

For your experience and skills you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and additional benefits.

What we need from you as a Restaurant Supervisor:

- 12 months Supervisory experience in a similar establishment/sector
- Have a passion for your job and putting the guests at the heart of everything you do
- Provide great customer services in a composed and polite manner
- Able to remain calm and in control at peak times and if guests are unhappy with something
- Able to supervise, train and motivate a team of staff
- You must be confident, friendly and self-motivated
- Able to take the lead when the owner is away from the business
- Full Driving Licence would be desirable but not essential (due to location)
- Ability to cook would be a bonus but not essential

What the roles involves:

- Ensure the premises are ready for guests prior to opening
- Serving guests and showing them how welcome they are
- Making coffee (Barista training and continued training will be provided)
- Clearing tables and maintaining excellent levels of cleanliness throughout the establishment
- Answering phone calls in a polite and friendly manner, taking online and over the phone bookings
- Handling money/card payments, using EPOS tills and record keeping
- Ability to multitask during peak times
- Maintain Health and Safety standards, including COSHH regulations
- Ensure correct food labelling including any allergens (Natasha’s Law)
- Ensure correct storage of food and stock rotation (use by dates)
- Display merchandise so that it is aesthetically pleasing and priced correctly

Training:
Salary/hours: £22,000 per annum. Hours: 35 per week (Monday to Sunday)

2 days off per week.
