**Business Admin Apprenticeship - Saint Georges CE School**
As a Business Admin Apprentice at Saint Georges CE School, responsibilities encompass a range of administrative duties vital for smooth operations. These include managing visitor access, greeting guests, handling phone inquiries, and organizing mail. Additionally, tasks involve supporting office functions such as filing, reprographics, and maintaining stock levels. Ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations is also a key aspect of the role, along with providing assistance in various office-related tasks as needed, such as arranging meetings and managing uniform sales.
**Key Details**:
**Salary**: £6.40 p/h
Working week: Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week, shifts to be confirmed on interview.
Holiday: 20 days holiday
Notice Period: 1 Week notice is required before the probation period is passed and 1 Month notice is required after the probation period is passed.
Apprenticeship Details - 18 months expected duration to complete, working towards your Level 3 Business Admin Qualification. (All learning is delivered online/ remote).
Training Provider: LMP Education (rated 8th best UK training provider)
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
As a member of the administration team, you will learn and understand the general functions of a busy school office along with completing the Business Administrator Apprenticeship Framework. An excellent opportunity for someone looking to forge a career in administration.

- Handling telephone enquiries
- Distribution of post
- Franking of outgoing post

- Arranging refreshments for meetings
- Assisting with uniform sales & stock levels

- Being aware of GDPR
**Person Specification Required**:
The sucessful applicant will have the ability to communicate with school visitors and staff at all levels, must be patient, courteous and able to work under their own initiative with a precise and methodical approach. The ability to work well within a team is essential along with the ability to seek guidance from senior staff where necessary and to maintain a high level of confidentiality. A fast learner with strong written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy, accuracy and attention to detail is a particular requirement. A motivated, hardworking, well presented and well organised individual with the ability to take responsibility for their job.
