**Job summary**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 4 pathway coordinator to join our team. We are a Centre of Excellence providing specialist services for Neuroendocrine Tumours (NETs) at UHB. Excellent communications are essential as the post holder will be expected to liaise with other MDT members and build good working relationships with stakeholders involved in the delivery of these complex pathways.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided for this exciting an innovative role and there further opportunities for development.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
The post-holder will be highly organised to provide co-ordination of the national pilot for Liver Transplantation in NETs, tracking selected patients through the pathway in a timely manner and recording relevant data along the patients' journey in order to inform the National MDT of the pilot progress and patient outcomes.

Carcinoid Heart Disease (CHD) is a complication of NETs and patients require close coordination of multiple clinical interventions and activities, including heart valve surgery. The post holder will streamline the patient's journey to improve the patient experience, improve quality and patient outcomes.
