**The Opportunity**:
To support the HR Administrator in delivering HR services and School objectives within the School of History, Classics and Archaeology. As a key member of the School Resources Team, the post-holder will be responsible for the recruitment process from start to finish, managing starters and leavers through on boarding and other processes. The Senior HR Assistant will deliver and co-ordinate the routine HR administrative support to all staff across the School of History, Classics and Archaeology. The post-holder will hold responsibility for the updating and maintenance of HR related systems and records, and will report to the School HR Administrator.
**Your skills and attributes for success:
- Vocational qualifications (N/SVQ 2/3, ONC or equivalent) plus relevant work experience OR School education to Standard Grade or equivalent plus typically relevant work experience
- Knowledge of HR, recruitment procedures and relevant legislation.
- Strong IT skills especially with a working knowledge of MS Office packages such as Word, Outlook and Excel, with an ability to learn how to use web-based (and other IT) packages.
- Strong organisational skills, with ability to plan and prioritise, work without close supervision, and manage a range of projects simultaneously. Ability to complete work accurately, on time and to appropriate standards.
