**Job Description - Business Support Fleet Administrator**
**Company description**
VOCON Traffic Management is a privately owned company with 25+ years combined Traffic Management experience in installation, design and planning are committed to providing customers, employees and the public a safe work zone while maintaining an efficient flow of traffic on the public highway. The role would also support our sister company VOCON Energy to ensure we drive back office consistency across both businesses.
VOCON Traffic Management has established its operational depot and back office support team strategically located just 5 minutes from to J25 of the M1 near Derby our Yorkshire depot based in Sheffield.
**Overview**
We are looking for someone who is a strong administrator who has previous experience of managing cost associated with running a commercial vehicle fleet, and working alongside the accounts team and supporting the wider buisness.
**The Role **(Key aspects of the of the job role):
- Validating weekly fleet related invoices
- Querying supplier invoices and challenging where necessary
- Checking weekly damage invoices and negotiating.
- Manage our fleet telematics
- Provide meaningful management information regarding fleet/behavioral trends
- General back office business support, ensuring our customers get a great customer experience
- Administrator to support the depot operations
- Maintaining our quality management systems
- Previous experience in the fleet hire or construction industry would be advantageous but not essential
- Completing customer supplier packs and PQQ’s / Tender Packs
- Good negotiating skills and comfortable dealing with external suppliers
- Conformable working as a part of a small back office team
- Flexible approach to work
- Proactive / think on their feet
- Good knowledge of IT - Microsoft Office - Excel Spread sheets, Power Point and Zero accounting software would be desirable
- Previous knowledge of using telematics systems and reporting (vehicle tracking)
- Purchase Ledger experience, specifically reoccurring hire invoices
- Comfortable producing customer and management reports from our systems, exporting and analysing data

Location: Derby, Spondon DE21 7RX
Hours Flexible / Full or Part Time
**Salary**: £21k to £26k - Subject to experience

Part-time hours: 45 per week
**Salary**: £21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
