An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to undertake a full-time role as Business Administrator/Support Officer in Pride Park in Derby.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be liaising and developing effective relationships with a wide variety of people, services, and organisations.

The successful post holder will need the ability to resolve problems, have an eye for detail and be able to work as part of a small team.

Job Summary: The key function of the role is to ensure administration tasks are processed within agreed SLA’s maintaining our reputation as a leading provider of qualifications, assessments, and training materials through the provision of excellent customer service and meeting regulatory requirements.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**Administration Duties**
- Maintain / update the IT system database accurately from registration to certification issue.
- Checking assessment paperwork received against specified criteria to ensure documentation is complete, correct and the recommendation clear, accurate and readable.
- Accurately updating Centre staff approval information on the IT system database.
- Uploading accurate information to the relevant third parties.
- Receive and process orders from customers.
- Resolve problems that may arise regarding the delivery of products.
- Input sales order and update delivery status of orders using BPEC accounting system.
- Monitor stock levels of centre and learner support materials.
- Maintain the on-line centre result process.
- Support the management team in achieving sales and financial targets and in producing reports.
- Providing support to all BPEC business functions as required.

**Communication**
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Communicate with customers of changes and availability of revised products / materials.
- Liaise with the technical management team to assist with technical/centre queries.
- Follow up sales leads to encourage customers to purchase training products and materials.
- Contact centres to seek their interest in BPECs products and services.
- Act as first line in answering telephone and door entry calls.
- Carrying out general reception duties (e.g., meeting and greeting guests).

**Other Duties**
- Attendance and contribution to all team and staff meetings.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the regulatory requirements needed to meet accreditation bodies.
- Scanning, photocopying, and filing documentation.
- Appropriately cleansing paper and electronic files and documents.
- Taking payments on-line and via card machine for purchased products.
- Preparing rooms and providing hospitality for int/ext meetings and training sessions.
- Undertaking training in other areas of admin and assisting in the training of others.
- Deputise for the Admin Team Manager in their absence.
- Support the full implementation of new and existing IT systems.
- Any other business admin duties as reasonably requested.

The post holder will be required to sign an ethical agreement due to the high levels of confidentiality requirements.
