Atlantic Projects Company (APC) are a leading contractor in the power generation industry who specialise in the installation of steam and gas turbines for prime and backup power generation as well as new technologies supporting the ever-growing demand for renewable energy. Our parent company are Argan Inc, a public traded holding company on the NYSE.

Our busy Derby office is looking for a Business Administration Support to help with general duties within the Administration, Finance, HR & Payroll departments. The role will include but is not limited to:

- Travel bookings (car hire, flights & hotels)
- Putting supplier invoices onto our Accounts system
- Raising purchase orders
- Responsible for getting new vendors approved to ensure companies are Health, Safety, Environmentally & Quality compliant
- Co-ordinating and validation of project timesheets
- Checking new starter information
- Updating spreadsheets
- Monitoring/issuing training records and booking courses as necessary
- Issuing contracts for new starters
- General administrative duties, including filing

After 6 months, you will have the opportunity to undertake a Level 3 Business Administration course, so please take this into consideration when applying.

**DO YOU HAVE THESE CAPABILITIES/EXPERIENCE?**
- Office/administration experience preferred
- Conversant in Microsoft packages Excel & Word

- Flexible and dependable
- Good attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong IT / Microsoft skills
