The A.W. Jenkinson group of companies is involved primarily in the processing, handling, transport and distribution of wood products and operates throughout the UK. The group is supported by the fleet of A.W. Jenkinson Transport Ltd ensuring the collection of materials and the delivery of our products is efficient and cost-effective.
Due to continued growth, we are now looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join our HR Team.
Duties will include helping with all aspects of HR including recruitment, training, maintenance and development of company policies and procedures, overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications.
HR support is provided to all of the A.W. Jenkinson businesses.
The position is likely to be full-time though we can be reasonably flexible with regard to the working day. The position is based at our Head Office at Clifton just outside Penrith, though some travel may be required and a full driving licence is essential.
We will be offering a competitive salary - the level dependent upon your experience and qualifications.
28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, a company funded cash plan with Health Shield, a Salary Sacrifice Pension and free onsite parking.
