**About the Role of HR Administrator**:
The primary function of an HR Administrator is to work alongside the HR Manager to provide a range of support functions to the management teams in the homes to ensure that employee performance is maximised and absenteeism is minimised. In doing so, the HR Administrator is expected to have an understanding of the CQC requirements, how these requirements translate into the respective performance activities of all level of home based staff, along with the practical methods of monitoring the fulfilment of these requirements through individual performance related activities. Additionally, the HR administrator will be involved in the review, maintenance and up-dating of company HR policies and procedures in response to changes in legislation, CQC compliance requirements and organisational objectives.

**Role specifications to include**:

- Effective support of the Homes by providing telephone advice, assistance and direction in accordance with company policies and legislative requirements.
- Attending Homes, when necessary to assist in disciplinary investigations, disciplinary hearings, fact finding meetings, consultation processes etc.
- Representing the company when dealing with employee representatives organisations.
- Assisting to monitor and control absenteeism by conducting regular reviews of employee absenteeism from information provided by the home administrators.
- Assisting with the disciplinary process when individual employee absenteeism reaches unacceptable levels
- Assisting with performance management processes by performance supervision meetings, investigations into allegations of poor performance, attending and note taking for disciplinary meetings, fact finding meetings and employee grievance meetings.
- Record keeping and monitoring the employee relations tracker on a real time basis.

**Person Specifications**:

- At least 1-year experience in an administration role.
- Good level of both written and spoken English
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Maintaining good time management in performing the tasks required and achieving task completion deadlines.
- Maintaining a good time keeping and attendance record
- Provide assistance and advice in a consistent, balanced and objective way, without favour or prejudice to any party.
- Producing notes of meetings in the prescribed format and on time.
- CIPD qualification or working towards (desirable but not essential)
- Experience in the Care/Healthcare sector (desirable but not essential)
