Project Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a project administrator/ receptionist to join us at Siemens Mobility Rail Infrastructure based at our Glasgow office. This role is a full-time permanent position.
**About the role**
As the Project Administrator/receptionist you will act as the key individual to ensure visitors and calls are dealt with in a professional and helpful manner, promoting the company image, values and behaviours. You will also be dealing with raising purchase orders, expenses, filing and archiving through CORMAP and timesheets.
**What are my responsibilities?**
- Raise PPE, stationery orders and office supplies on 1SRM
- Assist Regional Logistics Manager as back up for miscellaneous duties as necessary
- Assist Regional Construction Manager and team as necessary to ensure efficient service provided to Installation / Package managers and teams
- Prepares specialized routine report and correspondence, and/or statistics
- Support Team Administrator and cover the role as require
- Logging and reporting annual leave and sickness
- Welcome and direct visitors promoting a professional and friendly attitude at all times and Performs entrance and access controls ( verifying ) at a receptionist's desk for contractor staff signing into project worksites
- and collates work completion details
- Operate telephone switchboard, transfer calls and take messages with a professional attitude, ensuring calls are picked up in a timely manner and callers are transferred to correct destination without delay
- Receive and issue courier and mail items, mail sorting, franking and processing efficiently, ensuring items are despatched in a timely manner
- Provide refreshments for visitors and meetings and when required orders catering supplies
- Check calendar prior to meetings and provide appropriate requirements (open up rooms 4 & 5, projector, flip charts )
- Office duties including security passes, telephone lists, faxes, photocopying
