**Description**:
We are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team.

With continued growth at ScS, including the recent acquisition of Snug and increasing number of new projects, the finance team at ScS is keen to add strength to the senior finance team to support this growth.

The Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in the financial strategy by partnering with various business units to provide financial guidance, insights, and support for decision-making. You will work with closely with the finance team, wider business (cross departmental) and will have contact with the CEO and Trading Board.

**What does the role involve?**:

- Analyse financial data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators to provide actionable insights to business units.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop, monitor, and report on annual budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations for improvement. Working with key functional owners to prepare detailed bottom-up budgets and forecast
- Assist in long-term financial planning and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- A key business partner, building strong relationships with various business units, acting as the primary point of contact for financial matters and offering financial expertise and support.
- Develop, improve and maintain regular financial reporting and dashboards to track business unit performance, highlighting trends and areas of concern, including both financial and non-financial data to improve understanding of unit economics
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with business units to implement cost-effective strategies.
- Evaluate financial risks within business units and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Assess the financial feasibility of new projects, initiatives, or investments, including ROI analysis.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modelling as required to support various business decisions.

**Who are we looking for?**:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to establish personal credibility at senior levels
- Hold a professional accounting qualification and would ideally be educated to degree level.
- Be highly IT literate (in particular Excel)
- Have the ability to grasp the commercial issues and financially relevant aspects of the business
- Possess ability to model and forecast and think laterally
- Have strong organisational and project management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines on multiple projects
- Be comfortable and confident with a ‘hands on’ approach to problem solving
- Have good analytical skills
- Disciplined, organised, orderly and professional
- Positive outlook with a “can do” attitude
- Strong team skills
- Operates with integrity, builds trust and wins confidence
