The Cleaning Services Manager is a pivotal role in the delivery of service for our clients prestigious site. As the Cleaning Services Manager you must take full responsibility and lead the site cleaning provision. You will be responsible and accountable for client satisfaction and team management within the service.

You will be responsible for managing a team of 10-20 cleaning operatives in conjunction with the workplace supervisors. The ability to build firm relationships and deal with employee issues and concerns in vital for this role.

You will need to produce regular reports and audits for Senior Management and be confident in taking the lead in suggesting better ways of working.

You need to be an excellent communicator with a high level of customer-facing skills and take pride in the delivery of the service.

**Personal Attributes**

- Work flexibly across the shifts to provide support to the team.
- To ensure all reports are completed for the Johnsons senior management team.
- To ensure essential weekly documents are completed on site.
- The role may require you to undertake greater hours than the contracted amount

**Client Engagement**
- To ensure the contract is run safely and efficiently to the required client standard - positive safety culture
- To liaise with client and monitor site delivery, ensuring regular and appropriate communication.
- Client complaints and concerns are investigated and rectified swiftly. Action is recorded and reported on to Senior Management
- Ability to liaise and plan with the client for services for upcoming events
- Recognise when a client request is outside the agreed cleaning specifications and liaise with Senior Managers re charging the client for additional services
- To complete audit inspections with the Client to the KPI set within the contract
- To deal with any customer complaints or concerns within a timely and efficient manner to ensure the issue is fully investigated, with a robust action plan to rectify created, implemented and communicated back to the client. Please refer to Johnsons 1871 Ltd escalation procedure
- To ensure the cleaning cupboard noticeboard requirements are met in full - including health and safety literature

**Performance Management**
- Hazards and risks are continually assessed and that team members are performing their duties safely and with due care.
- If subcontractors are to attend site, you are to support and approve the sign off the works completed.
- Documents that affect the quality of work are controlled and filed for ease of reference
- Work closely with workplace supervisors to ensure supplies, site cover and standards of work are being delivered.
- Ensure all cleaning operatives and workplace supervisors have all the necessary information and training to perform well.
- Understand all shifts specifications and ensure delivery
- To ensure adequate delivery of Health and Safety and compliance ensuring all policies and procedures are aligned with Johnsons 1871 QHSE.
- To manage poor performance and deal with in line with Johnsons 1871 Ltd disciplinary procedure and report to Johnsons H&C management team.
- Ensure equipment and cleaning area is kept clean, tidy and in good working condition and report machinery faults and replacements

**Team Engagement**
- Maintain high standards of conduct and performance for both yourself and across the site cleaning operatives
- To plan cover across shifts when necessary, communicating effectively with the team and stating the requirements of the cover.
- Ensure wellbeing checks for cleaning operatives are conducted regularly
- To build relationships and rapport with the on-site team, including attending monthly meetings, or as required and responsibility for motivation, performance and empowerment of the team
- To manage all rotas to ensure staffing levels are always maintained, with holidays and sickness covered and managed appropriately
- To monitor sickness and absence of on-site employees
- To support the recruitment process with Johnsons 1871 Ltd delivery management team
- To complete new starter documentation and obtain the relevant Right to Work in line with corporate and legal process
