Do you have the right experience to be a key member of our small HR Systems and Payroll team and contribute to our work to prevent homelessness and transform lives?

Are you detail oriented and enjoy working in a fast paced environment? Are you passionate about getting things right first time and developing and improving HR systems?

If so, we would love to apply. We have a 12 month fixed term maternity cover opportunity within our Human Resources and Organisational Development department. This opportunity comes at an exciting time as we are undertaking a significant new HR system development and implementation project, so is a great chance to gain experience and be part of an important project.

As the post-holder, you will work closely with, and be supported by, the HR Systems and Payroll Manager to run the payroll processes each month and maintain our HR systems. You will provide great customer service, query resolution and produce reports needed for SHP to manage staff effectively. Acting as a super-user for our current HR Management Information Systems you will also maintain and develop our HR systems. You can find more information about the role in the attached job profile.

We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience of using an HR or payroll database and sufficient understanding of the key principles of payroll. A proficient user of Microsoft Excel, you will also have the ability to learn new processes and systems quickly and will be adept at data processing, data analysis and report production.

You will also have effective communication skills to work constructively with colleagues and strong time management skills to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
