**HR Payroll & Benefits Assistant - £24,000 - St Andrews - Hybrid**

HRC is currently working with a leading golf and sporting organisation who are looking to recruit an HR Payroll & Benefits Assistant for their supportive and thriving team. The purpose of this role is to provide supportive, hands-on end-to-end administration for all organisational payrolls, take responsibility for all payroll and benefits assistance and HR administration, supporting the wider HR team with various other duties and projects.

**The Purpose**
- Be the first point of contact for all internal and external HR, Payroll and Benefits queries - Responding, resolving and escalating when required to the relevant member of the HR team.
- Completing end-to-end administration from an HR point of view for all organisational payrolls - Working with key business stakeholders to focus on the accuracy and timeliness of monthly submissions.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all relevant files, systems and documentation.
- Demonstrate the business values, champion ED&I, promote business policies and practice

**Key Accountabilities (Payroll)**
- Respond to and resolve payroll and benefits enquiries - Working with the HR Assistant to manage all inboxes, answering first-line queries and escalating if required. Working towards expected timescales.
- Deliver and administer all the organisational payrolls, including data inputting, calculation of net salaries and deductions, ensuring tax documents are accurate and management of payroll files/audits - ensuring timely employee payment. Communicating and escalating with the HR Manager when required.
- Produce accurate and detailed reporting for each payroll period, meeting statutory obligations and aiding in senior management decision-making.
- Payroll takes place 1 week out of each month

**Key Responsibilities (HR)**
- Coordinate benefits administration on a daily, weekly and monthly basis - Including new starts & leavers - Processing all new starts and leavers through HR system.
- Work directly with the HR Manager to plan and roll out benefits information and training sessions for employees, communicating organisation benefits packages.
- Act as the department liaison with external benefits providers, providing data and reporting, MI gathering
- Work in collaboration with the HR Manager to research new employee benefit plans and suppliers, providing data and information to support management decision-making.
- Support the wider HR team with the full HR metrics.
- Support the wider HR team with HR administration, covering areas including Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Life Cycle, L&D, Performance Management, Off-Boarding and Employee Engagement.
- Support the HR team with HR projects as required
- Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualified
- Strong payroll experience
- Good understanding of HR administration and systems
- Strong administrator
- Able to work at pace and manage a busy workload
- Confident in Microsoft packages
- Experience in working with and manipulating data

**AOB**
- Hybrid working: 3 days in office / 2 days WFH
- Flexitime Available
- Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year
