THE OPPORTUNITY
A leading cleantech enterprise is looking for a skilled professional to join their team as an** IT Infrastructure Supervisor**. This enterprise specializes in the transformation of agricultural waste and wood residues into advanced biofuels and bio products. With significant investments from private and public sources and establishing partnerships with industry leaders the company is on a solid base with a bright future.
**Salary : £35,000 - £40,000**
**Location : Redcar**
**Hybrid working : Yes, though initially your time will be focussed on site.**
**Working Hours : Standard business hours**
THE ROLE
Responsibilities include supervising all infrastructure, supporting an initial staff of approximately 30, and adapting to future growth. This hybrid role, based in Redcar, will require on-site presence during the initial stages to enhance the infrastructure. The role also involves strategic coordination with external vendors, contributing to the IT budget, and developing plans for disaster recovery and business continuity.
YOUR SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Securely maintaining the IT infrastructure, covering networks, servers, and cloud-based services.
- Establishing robust data security measures for compliance with industry regulations.
- Providing immediate technical support and facilitating training programs.
- Contributing to shaping the IT budget and prioritizing essential expenditures.
- Developing foundational plans for disaster recovery and business continuity.
