The Operations Volunteering Officer coordinates our volunteers working in operational service delivery. This role will ensure all our dogs and customers receive the care and support required from our operational volunteer roles - without whom none of our services would be possible.

This is an office-based role with the opportunity to work from home on occasions there will also be the requirement to travel over the region, so a driving licence is preferable.

The working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with 26 days paid holiday (excluding bank holidays) a year.

**Essential**
- GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent qualifications OR extensive work experience that demonstrates the ability to undertake the requirements of the role.
- Previous experience of working with and co-ordinating volunteers.
- Experience of working with people in a customer-service related field.
- Experience working with CRM databases and maintaining accurate records.
- Competent computer skills, word, excel, outlook.
- Competent in using databases

**Desirable**
- Previous recruitment experience of volunteers
- Experience of coordinating/delivering training programmes.
- Knowledge of the charity sector and Guide Dogs as a charity
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices including safer recruitment.

**Salary**: £20,599.00-£23,174.00 per year
