Oakleaf Partnership are working with a growing health care business who are looking to appoint a Head of Reward to join their team on a permanent basis. With an organization size of roughly 1000 employees you will be responsible for managing the reward function including benefits and payroll. You will line manage a team of 3 including two payroll business partners and a HRIS Partner. The role will report into the Chief Human Resources Officer and be a key member of the HR Leadership team. You will contribute to the broader HR strategy and be responsible for leading and implementing all pay and benefits initiatives across the organisation whilst overseeing HR systems management.

**Job responsibilities**
- Provide direction to the design & development of salary, recognition and benefits strategies to ensure the adoption of best practice and alignment to the strategic objectives
- Develop and lead the implementation of related policies, procedures and systems, updating as necessary
- Line management of three team members
- Ensure salary, recognition and benefits strategies (both tangible and non-tangible), policies and reporting comply with principles, governance and are legally compliant.
- Provide expert advice on annual remuneration processes
- Ensure regular benchmarking and market related pay research is undertaken when necessary
- Manage changes and/or additions to programs, systems, processes, working practices and service delivery that reflect the changing needs of the organisation
- Ensuring all aspects of pay and benefits are focused on diversity and inclusiveness to ensure accessibility and equality of approach to all colleagues.
- Responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate completion of the monthly payroll in conjunction with the third party outsource provider Alight Solutions Europe Ltd.
- Produces detailed management reports from Workday as required by CHRO or to other senior managers on the approval of the CHRO.
- Provide leadership and direction for HRIS/Payroll systems making recommendations for enhancements as required
- Define and implement a strategic approach to HR data analytics for HR and the business.

**Key Requirements**
- A demonstrable track record over several roles (or equivalent progression) in Payroll, IT Systems and Benefits specialism
- Deep expertise in Reward & Compensation specialism, with experience of developing and implementing impactful and innovative company benefits.
- Demonstrable experience leading HRIS implementations and upgrades.
- An evident track record over several roles (or equivalent progression) managing a Reward team
- Demonstrable experience of thought leadership and the development of innovative approaches to complex problems.
- Demonstrable success of building good relationships and partnerships with key influencers across an organisation.
