**LETTINGS COORDINATOR**
We are recruiting for an excellent opportunity to join an independent property company in York. This is a well-established agent with a large portfolio of properties across the city. This is a great time to join the team, working together to facilitate thesmooth running of the rental properties. If you are sick and tired of working weekends on a rota basis then come and enjoy this Property role which is NOT regular weekend work and lovely hours of 9am-5pm :)
**WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?**
- Salary of £22K
- Monday-Friday 9am-5pm OR part time hours would also be considered. (generous overtime available paid at time and a half at peak seasons).
- 20 days holiday, company shut down at Christmas
- Progression
- Monday to Friday (No weekend work unless its a particularly busy period and all overtime paid at premium rate
- which is really unheard of in the Property sector)
- Initial salary reviewed within 6 months

**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
General day to day admin duties covering maintenance, lettings and accounts, such as:
- Dealing with visits to the office
- Answering the telephone
- Completing Licensing Applications
- Refreshing window display
- Social media posts
- Organising viewings
- Calling potential applicants for feedback after viewings
- Arranging keys for viewings and appointments
- Enter and update property information on housing management software, and spreadsheets
- Dealing with council tax and utility bills
- Facilitating replacement tenants, including calculating rental appointments
- Assisting to prioritise work and daily jobs for maintenance workers and contractors
- Setting up direct debits and rent schedules
- Conducting viewings, and other meetings such as attending Licensing inspections with the council, house checks and meeting landlords and contractors.
- Creating and obtaining details and measurements for floor plans and media.
- Assisting with the arranging and carrying out of house checks, check outs and check ins
**YOU MUST HAVE**
- Experience within the industry is not essential but a keen interest in property is desirable
- Strong communicator
- Ability to work as part of a team, and on own initiative
- Good Attention to detail
- Calm under pressure
- Complaints handling experience
- Confidence
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Full Driver’s Licence (and own transport preferred)
- Admin experience would be ideal
