- Spire Norwich Hospital are looking to bring on an Inpatient Bookings Officer to join their established team on a full time, permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to arrange admission of surgical and non-surgical patients, making Pre-op appointments and sending admission paperwork.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- To receive all inpatient bookings from Consultants and secretaries.
- To register patients onto SAP if required.
- To accurately enter and process bookings into SAP & Outlook calendar.
- Confirm admission details and post admission letters to patients.
- Liaise with Insurance Companies for pre-authorisation and pre-verify.
- Arrange anaesthetic cover for General anaesthetic surgeries.
- Liaise with other departments within the hospital regarding admissions.
- To follow Spire policy for point of service billing by carrying over credit card details where appropriate from Outpatient visit.
- To review Outpatient clinics on a daily basis checking for DNA patients and rebooking where appropriate.
- Liaise with Theatre team on a daily basis.
- To adhere to the Hospital Health & Safety policy and any other relevant policies
- To carry out any other duties that may reasonably fall within the general nature and level of responsibility.
