**Hybrid (Home/Bionical Solutions Office, Derbyshire)**
**Full time or Part time**
**Up to 38k (DOE)**
Bionical Solutions are seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to work as an effective member within the Finance team to assist with the payroll & the expenses process.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Payroll:
- To assist the monthly payroll processes working with external partner
- To monitor the Payroll inbox and resolve any queries received and provide trend analysis
- To liaise with Finance and HR to ensure payroll is accurate and establish robust processes and controls
- To support the month end process ensuring control files are in place & detailed reconciliations are reviewed monthly
- To review processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practice for the business
Expenses:
- To process expenses in Expense system in a timely manner
- To liaise with staff regarding expenses (ensure compliance with policy, advising on system, answering any queries)
- To ensure appropriate authorisation is applied
- To continually review financial processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practice for the business
- To ensure recharge of expenses process to Customers is appropriately applied
Other:
- To use best practice and initiative to complete tasks and resolve issues which arise, in an effective and compliant manner
- To use the company's IT systems proficiently
- To work effectively within a dynamic environment, and to assist in driving a continuous improvement culture
General responsibilities:

**Who are you?**
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in payroll - dealing with queries in a professional and polite manner
