Children's Health Promotion Advisor - 0-19 + Enhanced Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Enhanced Service in Cheshire East.

A contribution from this role will be a role within parent / carer engagement.

You will be joining a proactive skill mixed team working together to deliver the Healthy Child Programme to children and their families in the area. You will be working closely primarily with the Enhancing families specialist nurses and other Lead roles within the service, Health Visitors, School Nurses and neighbouring multi agency and voluntary organisations to provide accessible, person centred packages of care in response to individual and local need.

The 0-19 Service is a dynamic and exciting service, and becoming a Children’s Health Promotion Advisor/Nursery Nurse with us will offer you the opportunity to work within the public health and health promotion domains.

You should possess excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to working effectively both as part of a team and independently. An in depth knowledge of the current health agenda relating to children’s services and the 0-19 Service is essential.

We have an established preceptorship programme in place and you will be well supported by your manager and colleagues and valued in your role as a member of the 0-19 Service. We offer opportunities for personal and professional development and you will receive annual appraisal, clinical and safeguarding supervision.
