Responsible to: Head of Upper School

**Salary**: Grade 4 currently £18,533 - £18,871 actual salary

Job purpose: To provide an efficient and accurate administrative service to the Key Stage team.

Hours of work: 37 hours per week term-time plus Inset Days (39 weeks a year)

Occasional evening duties as required for Key Stage events throughout each academic year.

**Responsibilities**:
**Key Stage Support**
- To develop this role in consultation with the Head of Key Stage to become a self-contained unit providing high levels of administration support.
- To provide clerical support to the Key Stage team to include word-processing - production of weekly lateness letters and arranging detentions accordingly, document design, photocopying, display and distribution of promotional materials.
- To support the Key Stage team in planning ahead for key events and activities, e.g. parents evenings, student behaviour report administration, Certificates evening.
- To co-ordinate student support services within the Key Stage - tasks include on a daily basis doing absence group texts, phone calls home and monitoring attendance; showing visitors round the school; arranging appointments; and supporting the Access Team.
- To ensure that Key Stage data is readily accessible and available to staff, e.g. attendance statistics, reward/discipline records, pupil record files.
- To ensure continuity of service to the wider community. As the majority of Key Stage staff have other commitments, you will provide core hours for external agencies, partners and students to contact the Key Stage office. As an integral member of the team, you will have up-to-date knowledge of developments and programmed activities to respond to queries and act as a first point of contact.

**Technical abilities**
- Efficient and accurate typing skills
- A good working knowledge and competency of Microsoft Office packages (especially Word and Excel)
- High level proof-reading ability including spelling, grammar and consistency checks
- High level of written and verbal communication skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 37 per week

**Salary**: £18,533.00-£18,871.00 per year
